Christian care for families

Mothers’ Union

Mothers' UnionThe Mothers’ Union is a worldwide  society with 4 million members worldwide working in 81 countries.  It is passionate about caring for families all around the world with various projects going on all the time.

Many  churches in the Uk and worldwide have branches supporting local projects.  in the Wakefield diocese we support the Mother and Baby Unit at New Hall, the Away from it all (AFIA) giving breaks to needy families and Grub on No Grant supporting students.

The Lepton branch of the MU was re-opened on 19th June 2011 after being closed for a number of years.  We will be meeting on the last Thursday of each month, and looking at how we can represent the MU in our own and wider communities.

All of the work of the MU is underpinned by the Christian faith of its members (both male and female).  Come and find us on Facebook.
